DIY – 3 Kitchen Ingredients for Healthy Skin & Body!

Featured ImageHello Everyone! I love home remedies and recently I came across an interesting recipe that is extremely beneficial in cleansing our bodies inside & out. It’s a simple powder which can be made at home using 3 simple ingredients from your kitchen:

  • 25gms Black Cumin (Kaala Jeera)
  • 25gms Bishops’s Weed (Ajwain)
  • 50gms Fenugreek Seeds (Methi Daana)

Method
The recipe is no rocket science, all you have to do is dry roast each ingredient separately until they start releasing their aroma. Once it cools off, blend all the three ingredients together till it becomes a fine powder. Store the powder in glass container.

Take this powder at least once or twice a week with warm water before bedtime.

How this helps?
Black cumin is known for having overall health benefits. Right from treating acne to reducing effects of flu/fever. Bishop’s weed enhance digestion & fenugreek boosts hair growth, helps relieve menstrual cramps & controls blood sugar levels.

This is an Ayurvedic powder that helps in purifying blood and improve digestion. It boosts immunity and even helps in joint pain. Simply put, if you are healthy from inside, you will glow from outside. This remedy can help you achieve that. It has no side effects & is completely natural.

I have personally tried it since a few weeks and feel much better & healthy. But, I should also warn you that its a very very bitter powder! It will take time to adjust to the taste. I would still request everyone reading this post to try it out as I’m sure you will benefit from it. We spend a lot of money on makeup, skincare et al, it’s time we do this thinking about long term health & wellness. 🙂

If you do try this, do share your experience in the comments below.

Stay Blushed! XOXO
